Michikamau Ni-Cu-Co-PGE Project - “Now Seeking Joint Venture Partners”
Labrador, Canada
The 100% owned Michikamau project covers 488 square kilometers along the southern margin of the Michikamau layered gabbro-anorthosite (troctolite) intrusion in west central Labrador. This intrusion is considered to be highly favourable for hosting Ni-Cu-Co-PGE mineralization and represents a conceptual and empirical exploration target for Voisey´s Bay type mineralization. The property is proximally situated to existing infrastructure including the Churchill Falls hydroelectric facility. Twenty-seven (27) high to medium conductors have been identified on the Property, hosted in troctolite within the interpreted throat "feeder" zone. The Property is located close to existing infrastructure, including the Churchill Falls hydroelectric facility.
2007 Exploration Highlights
- Completed 11 drill holes for 1,100 metres
- $750,000 exploration program budget
- Followed-up on geophysical conductors
- 27 high to medium conductors identified to date

2006 Exploration Program
- Completed 1,200m drill program in August 2006
- $750,000 exploration program budget
- Conducted 275 line km of detailed airborne geophysics
- 10 of 12 high-priority EM targets intersected shallow conductive sulphide mineralization
- Prospecting identified Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-PGE surface showing; five grab samples average 1.14% Ni, 0.67% Cu and 0.194% Co.
